I am Lee Kong Chian Professor of Human Resources at Singapore Management University, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore.

I am also Visiting Professor at the Department of Personnel Management and Work and Organizational Psychology at Ghent University (Belgium) and an Honorary Professor at the University of Cape Town (South Africa).

In the past, I was visiting professor at University of Minnesota, Bowling Green State University, University of Georgia, Nanyang Technological University, University of Zürich, University of Valencia, Justus-Liebig University Giessen, Ludwig-Maximilian University München, Saarland University, and University of Stellenbosch.

My research and teaching are situated in the field of Human Resources Management. My main research areas deal with talent acquisition and talent assessment. Specific topics include situational judgment, adaptability, and employer branding.

I am ranked among the top 1% of scientists in the world in the field of Business & Management. My work has been published among others in Annual Review of Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Annals of Academy of Management.

Currently, I serve in the editorial board of among others Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology.
